Krisztina Tötös
Krisztina switched careers from the arts as a classical clarinet player to language services, but this was not a new endeavor for her. Communicating in various languages and across cultures has been a life-long passion for her. She provides technical and literary translation services in multiple languages, including German, Hungarian, Italian, Spanish, and Catalan.
Her specialty is translating technical and legal texts and well as texts from social science. Her favorite topics are psychology, history of music, and children’s literature.
INTERPRETATION AND LANGUAGE TRAINING SERVICES
Vera Tötös
Vera spent 18 years in the USA as a college- and graduate student, and started her working life there. She studied art and art history at Colgate University, Williams College, and Brown University, and worked as a tutor and teaching assistant. Later, she founded and ran a small business delivering educational programming in arts and crafts for children and adults. She passed her interpreter certificate examination in 2022, and now works as an interpreter and language trainer.
She loves researching the language of museum publications, education, and parenting literature in English and Hungarian, and effective workplace communication. Her favorite topics are truly effective online teaching methods, the intersections of technology and economy, and contemporary textile arts.
